After teasing us a couple of weeks back with little more than some fancy art work and in-sport character models, Gameloft is lastly giving us a take a look at some precise gameplay for their upcoming title Wild Blood. The hype surrounding WB is that it’s being built using the Unreal Engine 3 made famous by iOS’ Infinity Blade. Evidently, Android avid gamers expect nothing in need of console-quality visuals.
In relation to gameplay, many were anticipating Wild Blood to be nothing greater than an Infinity Blade rip-off (a enterprise mannequin Gameloft has turn out to be notorious for due to their “me too” titles). Nonetheless, watching by their gameplay footage, it seems this shall be extra of a free-roaming, action RPG, hack-n-slash than a gesture based medieval Fruit Ninja. Have a look for yourself.

I need to admit, while WB seems to be significantly better than the standard Gameloft fare, there seems to be a bit of something lacking. Name it “pizazz” or what have you. Animations seemed somewhat stiff, and there really wasn’t sufficient dynamic lighting or special effects to really wow me. But then once more, possibly I’m just a hard sell. I did discover the gameplay appealing due to the inclusion of a dodge maneuver which should add some skill to an otherwise mindless genre. What did you guys assume? Is Wild Blood already dwelling as much as your expectations?

Every time I want to play online, I get a "Connection lost" message. Other than that, the game is pretty awesome.
